CHAN SAI GAAN STUDIO has officially announced OBE MODE, its first English-language miniseries, created by and starring CHAN SAI GAAN. OBE MODE follows Siu On, a young man whose soul is unexpectedly separated from his body, pulling him into a supernatural journey between the living streets of Hong Kong’s Kowloon City and a hidden spiritual realm. As he searches for the truth about his past and fights to save the people he loves, Siu On enters a world shaped by desire, trauma, mysterious contracts, and forces beyond human understanding. Each new danger forces him to confront the line between good and evil—and ultimately redefine family, mortality, and the meaning of his own existence.

CHAN SAI GAAN takes the lead role of Siu On, the central perspective through which audiences enter the supernatural world of OBE MODE. The character also stands at the heart of the Chinese title, 在地之靈—a soul bound to a place by memory, blood, unresolved destiny, and forces he has yet to understand.
塵世間將飾演全劇第一男主角潘安仁，並成為帶領觀眾進入《OBE MODE》靈異世界的核心視角。潘安仁同時也是中文片名「在地之靈」所指涉的核心人物——一個被地方、記憶、血緣與未解命運牢牢牽引的靈魂。

At the beginning of the story, Siu On is an ordinary young man who has lost his job, his direction in life, and his sense of belonging within a family. He is not a fearless hero, nor is he prepared to save anyone. He gets scared. He runs away. He doubts himself, and he breaks under betrayal and loss. Yet through a series of trials that repeatedly bring him to the edge of death, he gradually learns to make difficult choices—and to accept their consequences. His journey transforms him into a unique spiritual figure capable of connecting the human world, a realm of spiritual power, and the order of the underworld.
故事開始時，小安只是一名同時失去工作、人生方向與家庭歸屬感的普通青年。他不是天生無所畏懼的英雄，也沒有預先準備好拯救任何人。相反地，他會恐懼、逃避、懷疑，也會因背叛與失落而崩潰。但正是在一次次逼近死亡的考驗中，他逐漸學會承擔選擇所帶來的代價，最終成長為能夠連接人間、靈力空間與陰間秩序的特殊靈者。

Speaking about finally being able to reveal the long-awaited project, CHAN SAI GAAN shared:
“I’ve been teasing everyone about this for so long, but the truth is, I’ve wanted to talk about it the entire time. Whenever I saw people guessing what the mystery project might be, I came so close to giving it away. Do you know how hard it was to keep quiet? But now I can finally say it out loud: ‘I’m going to be the leading man!’”

He feels fear, he gets hurt, and he makes the wrong choices—but he still tries to protect the people who matter to him. I hope audiences will see more than my first leading role. I want them to step into Siu On’s life and experience this entire journey with him.”
